Email Deliverability

One thing you can do to test a mass mail coming out of ProfilerCloud is test it’s deliverability, this can diagnose issues with spam or if email systems are rejecting your email for a number of reasons.

We recommend using Mail-Tester.com as a email delivery test. To do this we recommend creating a “Test Client” in your ProfilerCloud system.

When you load this Mail-Tester website you are presented with a screen giving you an email address. On your Test Client in Profiler – set Email 1 to the email address provided.

Then go and send your template to that Test Client within ProfilerCloud, using the standard email system within Profiler. Then head back to the screen on Mail-Tester.com and click the Then Check your Score button.

This will analyise the email that you have sent to the system. You can see the above example shows your email score (the example above shows a bad email which would likely end up in Spam/Junk Mail folders)

If you click on any of the headers listed, you can see the reasons for the score, and how you can potentially improve it. You can go back and adjust your email template further based upon the recommendations and send another test email.

Why this receipt?

Profiler Receipt Rules allows you to have different rules and templates for different criteria. You can set up multiple receipt rules for your payments to issue based upon a variety of different conditions, but as such, you might want to know WHY a particular receipt has been issued to a client.

Bring in Receipt Rules Decision Viewer – which allows you to put in a Payment ID number from a client and see the decision making process that the Profiler receipt engine used to generate the receipt for the client.

Instant Receipting

InstantReceipting

One of the new features in Profiler 9.2.3 brings InstantReceipt. This part of Profiler allows you to follow your set-up Receipt Rules but rather than running and issuing receipts as part of your Day End Processing, a receipt will be issued as soon as payment is created if the client has an email address.

A number of options are available for configuring and flexible options can be built for your existing Receipt Rule setup. Different rules and templates can also be set up for Online RAPID payments if you wish to receipt online payments differently.

You can also get Profiler to automatically send the receipts at the Day End Processing time, rather than instantly, allowing any changes or modifications immediately after they have been entered.
